National Account Manager

A national key accounts role with a leading building materials manufacturer, managing trading agreements and developing the relationship with national builder’s merchants, distributors and buying groups.

Compensation: Competitive basic + 10% OTE

Responsibilities:

  • Account managing and developing the relationship with existing buying groups, national builder’s merchants and distributor accounts
  • Negotiating and maintaining annual trading agreements, organising and controlling rebates, financial targets, account spend and payments
  • Handling new business enquiries, and again putting in place trading agreements
  • Liaising and working alongside the national sales team, to ensure your strategy and agreements are being rolled out at branch level
  • You will also manage exhibitions and sponsorship associated with your national accounts, and generally be their go-to person

Overview:

Package: competitive basic with a 10% annual bonus, £8k car allowance, 26 day’s holidays, healthcare & pension
