The best sales people aren’t the loudest

I speak with some of the best sales professionals in the construction industry every day, and a lot of the top performers aren’t the most vocal people in the room.

They’re the people who:
– know their products inside out
– understand their customers’ needs
– answer the phone when it rings
– follow through on what they say they’re going to do
– build trust through credibility and delivery

Consistency beats noise.

Especially in sales, where relationships are everything.

I think too many sales people focus on looking and sounding successful, instead of focusing on the things that actually get results.

Because in the long run, reliability will always outperform ego.
